Support your employees, develop them and coach them in their work so they become successful, but don’t do your employees’ jobs. Don’t allow monkeys to sit on your shoulder and dictate your daily routine.
Don’t accept a problem being brought to you without any suggestions for solutions. Let your employees take responsibility for problem solving. Encourage your employees’ self-confidence by demanding that they perform, thereby encouraging their performance and the performance of your organization. This brings us to external leadership.
